Hi,

I want to trade stocks through IB on exchange FWB (Germany). I cannot select it in the Instrument Manager. How do I set up these instruments?

Also, do you have any update on when CFDs will be available through NT, or if nothing fixed yet, is there anybody out there with a workaround?

Thanks for writing in.

These instruments will need to be added in NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader comes pre-loaded with the most commonly traded instruments however, you may find the need to add an additional instrument. Please follow the instructions below to add an instrument in the Instrument Manager.
First add the instrument in Traders Workstation. If the exchange shows as SMART try opening a chart for an existing instrument
Next start in the symbol you want to add and press Enter
A new instrument will automatically be created
If the instrument does not show as SMART in Traders Workstation complete the steps below
From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
Press the "New" button
*Enter in instrument specific information and select the appropriate exchange (add Default exchange for equities in addition to Xetra)
Fill in any relevant information under the "Misc" tab such as symbol mapping for your target connectivity provider
Press the "OK" button

IF this does not work, at the end of the Interactive Brokers Symbol Mapping in the Instrument Editor try adding the following to the end of the mapping
