    data fxcm

    Hello,

    I´m informed by fxcm that now the data works fine with NT....13.

    I have connected to fxcm with their demo ID and password, NT connects, light-grey lower left corner.

    But when loading the charts (this goes much more faster now than few months ago - just for info) then the price does not move! The last price shown in the chart is always the bar exactly one hour ago.

    Thank you for your forum post.


    In the lower left hand corner, does it list "Connected - FXCM" with a green background? If not then it looks like you are not connected to FXCM.


    Can you see a bid/ask price showing up for a currency pair when selected from the Name: drop down on the Orders tab of the Control Center?


    You can reset your instruments to troubleshoot the situation:

    When you perform an instrument reset, the following actions will occur:
    • User added instruments will not be affected.
    • Any changes you have made to the original instrument settings will be reset
    • Any changed symbol mappings will be reset including changes made for use with the Automated Trading Interface.


    • Disconnect from any data providers.
    • Control Center > Tools > Options...
    • Data tab > Reset Instruments
    • Restart NinjaTrader and retest the situation



    I look forward to hearing if this helps to resolve the situation or if I can provide any further assistance.

      Hello,

      thank you for your reply.

      Yes, of course its light green inte lower left hand corner and it does list connected fxcm.

      No, there is no bid ask ("n/a") in the orders tab.

      I have reset the instruments, restarted NT, connected with fxcm, light green "connected". EURUSD last price exactly one hour ago, price does not move, no price in fxpro.

        In the message, please include the following:

        You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

        Also send me your configuration file:
        • You will find your configuration file in the following directory:

            would be great to understand what the instructions are.

            I have a similar issues where FXCM data appears to be incorrect.

            Thanks in advance for posting the troubleshoot steps for solving this issue!

              Hi Jochen,

              I didn´t have any data with fxcm before. Maybe a problem with some installation/upgrade. So I removed NinjaTrader and installed new.

              Now I can connect to fxcm. But still data issues.
