    Hello asiaexpat,

    Thank you for your post.

Please contact me by email at Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com. In the message, please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file.

The file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I would need a copy of the 'trace.20130519.txt' file.

      Hello Kyle,
I have had the same effect as described by asiaexpat, but get it after a overnight update of windos8. Meanwile I did a reinstallation of NT and then I renamed all NT - Files on my disk and reinstalled again but there is no effect. I cannot start NT on the PC. It seems to me as a effect of the update process of windows 8. Waiting for an reply

      best regards
      klaus

          Hallo Jason,
unfortunatly i can`t send you a trace-file of today because the folder is emty at all. After starting, first time after new installation of NT, I got the message "the application could not be started". Then after deleting the prozess NinjaTrader (0%CPU-Time,2,5 MB memory used constant) and restarting NT nothing will happens but the NT - Prozess running once again with the parameters decribed above. No trace file

Are you currently running Windows 8? If so please uninstall updated KB2836988 via the Windows Control Panel and let me know if you can then open NinjaTrader successfully.

              Unable to Load Ninjatrader

I can't load Ninjatrader at all. It says that it's busy for few hours.
I cleaned the 'Cache' , what else should I do?
I have Win 7 home edition.

I can show you the stuffs in my trace folder.

              Thanks.

Are you receiving the error that the server is busy? If so please shut down your PC then reboot your modem, restart your PC and let me know if you can then load your charts successfully.

Also I do see the following error within your Trace:

2013-05-20 14:10:09:753 ERROR: Failed to call method 'Initialize' for indicator 'CalculateValueArea': 'TickSize' property can't be accessed from within 'Initialize' method

If you remove the indicator referenced in the error above does your chart load?

------ No Charts did not load.

If you remove the indicator referenced in the error above does your chart load? --- How can I remove 'Calculate value area' without jeopardizing the other indicator which are on my other charts? I have direct edition of Ninja trader from Mirus Futures.

                  Thanks in advance.
