    Lost charts on Connection

    Hi,

    I seem to having difficulty with connections and data.
    I have three connections Zenfire, IB and Kinetick using IQ.

    Lately some of my connections are destroying my charts. When I connect I lose charts.

    Right now I am only using Zenfire which for the moment seems OK.

    Any suggestions?

    Peter, in which order do you normally connect to those? For which instrument and chart types / timeframes do you see this happen?

      Hello Betrand,

      I connect as follows ZenFire then IB then Kinetick
      It happens to all charts on different time frames and different chart types.

      But I am also experiencing some hanging on dialogue boxes from time to time. The data is coming in but a dialogue box hangs.

        Thanks, so that would only manifest if you connect and not when you do a manual reload of data? Which connection is delivering historical data then in your setup?

          Bertrand,
          Right now I am only connected to ZenFire and everything is OK....it is when I connect to Kinetick now that I get into trouble.

            Peter, would that be the free Kinetick then or the live subscription one?

            In this setup, ZenFire is then still connected first and would be setup to deliver the historical data? Or would you change the account connection to disable it and get the historical then from Kinetick?

            It would also help us if you could reach out to support via Help >> Mail to Support so we could review your logs generated in the process for further insight.

              No I am a subscriber to Kinetick and correct historical is setup to come from Kinetick.

                Ok, thanks will check into - could only imagine not all symbols / exchanges would be subscribed at Kinetick then that you're used to having with ZenFire.

                    Cannot use NT any longer.
                    Set ZenFire for all data and only connected to it and could not load a new chart...things froze up...this is a chart with no indicators attached.
                    Disconnected and connected to Kinetick same thing
                    Have sent trace and log
