Plotting of Trade HIstory in another Ninja Trader

Dear Sir,

If I use the Database Option in Backup, what data are backup? Does this include the ticks data? Are trade history included? What else are back up?

Actually, I would like to find a way to back up the trade history only. I want to send it to my friend for analysis.

Hello Tiffany,

The database contains ATM Strategy templates, Session templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments and historical trade execution data. Unfortunately it is not possible to create a backup file for just your trade history. When you backup the database, it will include the other items as well.

With the database option, the tick data are not backup. Is that correct? So when I restored it to another Ninja Trader using another datafeed, will it overwrite the tick data from other datafeed?

Hello Tiffany,

If historical data is included in the backup all data intervals, tick data included, will be backed up. When a backup is restored, that would overwrite the existing data on the PC where the backup is restored.
