Bad configuration instrument through IB

Hi Ninjas,

This could be a simple issue but I'd like to solve it.

I chart 4 currencies through IB as data provider, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF and USDJPY. All of them were set in my database under IB ideal pro as exchange. The data comes perfectly but an issue occurs: I can apply some indicators JUST to EURUSD and not the others. Studying what the reason could be, I realized that viewing on charts as INSTRUMENTS, just the EURUSD comes connected to IB ideal pro and the rest to DEFAULT. The weird thing is that I've previously configurated each one ofthem as IB ideal pro and deselecting DEFAULT, so why does this happen and how can I solve it?

Thank you for your post.

Please go to the NinjaTrader Control Center > Tools > Instrument Manager > remove any of the currency pairs on the instrument list you use (Default Instrument List for example) that show up as Default for the exchange on the chart > then search for each currency pair > left click on the currency pair in the search results > select the desired exchange from the Exchange drop down menu below the search results > then select '<' to add the instrument with the desired exchange to your instrument list.

By removing them and setting them again, Will I lose my saved data for this instruments? Obviously I don't want to lose it.

You will not lose your historical data for these instruments by following the instructions listed.
