CandleVolStyle2 installation problem (Volume bar)

Could somebody tell me how can i install this Volume bar, please?

Or any other interessting Volume bar indicator.

Thanks for your note.

To import a NinjaScript you will need the original .zip file.

Follow these steps to import the NinjaScript:

1. Download the script to your desktop, keep it in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Note that on any files that say "File already exists on your PC" that start with an "@" symbol are the ones that came preloaded inside of NinjaTrader so you would say "No" so that you do not override those files.


Please let me know if these steps do not allow you to import this bar type.

It is not possible to import this file, because it is not *.zip file it is a *.cs file.
The original name is CandleVolStyle2.cs

Thanks for that information.

Because you do not have a complete importable package you will need to take different steps to install this bar type.

First place the file in the following directory:

• C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type

Then open any indicator for editing by clicking Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator...-> select ADL -> click OK.

Next, right-click the code editor window and select Compile.

If any error messages appear after you click compile, please take a screenshot of these messages and send those in your reply.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Thanks for your reply. I did as you wrote, but without results.

After a "right-click the code editor window and select Compile." I have a received a double audio ton, but not error masages.

Thereafter i couldn't find this indicators in the Ninja Indikator list, please Att. below.

What is the solution, please?

Hi krako,

The CandleVolStyle2 is a chart style and not an indicator.

This style type can be chosen instead of regular candlesticks in the Data Series parameters.
