Cannot uninstall NT cannot upgrade NT

Trying to move to latest version from 7.1.12 I get the message that tmpD6.tmp is not on network device and suggests I try looking C:\Users\ah\AppData\Local\Temp\ and so the unsinstall cannot continue. The uninstall or install then fails

Any help appreciated,
