    Incorrect account information display from PATS

    I'm connected OK to my PATS account. But only "buying power" is showing in the accounts grid, and that number is 100 which is not the correct value.

    Hi,

    Unfortuantely, Patsystem does not provide account information under the Accounts-tab to NinjaTrader.

      HI,

      If Patsystem does not support account information, will it show an active position?
      If I close ninjatrader and open it the next day, will I see my actual live contracts ?

      Does Ninjatrader act the same way as for example x_trader frontend? Or will another patsystem frontend show no account information also?

        Here is the information from your broker that will show in NinjaTrader:

          You would not advice to close Ninjatrader when a position is open?!?

          How can I be 99% certain (after a pc crash) what my current position is with ninja in combination with patsystem?
          Will it show up in ninjatrader if I connect to this patsystem again?

            What we can guarantee is that we have passed the Patsystems conformance testing many years ago that specifically tests that NinjaTrader properly reports positions after disconnecting/reconnecting. We do not have situations where NinjaTrader is not correctly reporting accurate positions.

              Hello all,

              I had it approx. 4-5x times that I got disconnected from PATS with open positions. Then I had to re-start NT and re-connect to my PATS-account.I never had any problems, all open positions and active orders were still there.
              In one case while re-starting and re-connecting an active order got filled (Stop-order) and even that was properly displayed after restarting NT.
              So everything should work fine!

                1# Is it necessary that I restart ninjatrader completely? Is re-connecting not enough?

                I ask this because I use a very large workspace that takes forever to load.

                2# Is it also possible to connect twice to this PATS-account. One from my pc and another from my laptop (without a workspace

                  Hi,

                  1) Yes, restarting is needed.

                  2) It's not possible to connect to your Pats account twice. Most likely not because of security reasons, but that is something you need to ask your broker.
