Unable to load historical data: unknown instrument

    Hello,
I add Symbols like EMF(E-mini Sp&P CNX Nifty) , ER2(E-mini Russell 2000) in the instrument manager from the Master Instruments List.
I use kinetick realtime and have a subscription for the CME realtime.
But when i try downloading the historical data or open the chart i keep getting the error
message that says 'Error on reloading data: Unable to load historical data: unknown instrument(Panic).'
I have tried to Edit the instrument from the Instrument manager by Changing the session Template, but no matter what i do, i still keep getting the same error message.
In the Session Manager tab, my default 24/7 session is there, and in the Tools>Data tab i have Do not Merge ticked.
Can anyone please help me with these issues.
    Regards,
    Anup

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Have you changed the symbol mapping value for EMF or are you using the default settings for the instrument?

ER2 is an expired symbol - you should be using the symbol TF for emini Russell futures. Please be aware that Kinetick does not offer TF data however.

        Hello,

Thank you for clarifying that the adjustment has not taken place.

Please open the Instrument Manager (Tools > Instrument Manager) then select EMF from the list on the right. Click Edit to open the Instrument Editor. In the editor, move to the Misc tab and scroll down to the symbol map section - next to Kinetick, enter @EMF then click OK. Click OK again to exit the Instrument Manager then try creating a new EMF 09-13 chart.

I changed the symbol map, still getting same error.
What Session Template needs to be used for this

            Hello,

Session template has no impact of any kind on this issue.

Please provide me with an image showing the settings which you're using in both the Definition and Misc tabs of the instrument editor for EMF.

                Hello,

To confirm, you're seeing the same error message with this setup? You are trying a new chart, not one created before correct?

                    Hello,

Please be sure to try a new chart - I suspect that you're re-sending the request with an older chart which we know does not call the settings we've just adjusted.
