Connection problem

Hello,

I am connected with kinetick without problem. Connected-Kinetick is green.

When I open my worspace, the diferrents charts open but NT freezes and do not load the historical data.

In option I repaired DB and reseted DB but i always have the same problem.

Someone can help me?

Please outline what the workspace consists of. For instance, how many charts are included? Which intervals of data are those charts set to display? How many days of historical data are requested in the charts?

I don't know why but I' have no problem this morning (in France )

But I would like to solve totaly.

My workspace includes:

- 9 charts for the same contract.
- 1 chart for SP 500 index
- 2 Market analyser

The number of day forhistorical data:

Daily 365
60’ (Two charts one RTH other ETH) : 365
15’ (ETH): 60
5’ ( Two charts one RTH other ETH) : 90
8 range : 23
4 range: 20

Do you think there are too many charts when I open NT during the US session?

Thank you for your response.

From your description of the Workspace I do not believe you have too many charts/instruments open. I do however recommend reviewing our performance tips at the following link and implementing some of these to improve the overall performance of NinjaTrader: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ance_tips2.htm

Some key items to focus on are the following concerning charting:

• Set chart indicators "Calculate on bar close" property to a value of 'True'
• Increase your chart refresh interval by increasing the value of the chart property "Display update interval (sec)"
• Reduce the number of bars on your chart, days back or bars back settings in the Data Series window (right click > Data Series)
• Reduce the number of running indicators
• If you are running a custom or 3rd party indicator or strategy, remove them to isolate if these custom NinjaScript objects may be a CPU or memory drain
