    Is this a frequent problem with updating charts

    I'm a new NinjaTrader user testing out the platform and the 30 day Zen-Fire data feed. NT version 7.0.1000.14

    I seem to often hit an error: "Error on loading chart data for ES 09-13 Globex. Connection to data server is busy or not available right now. Please try again later. "

    I get that whether trying for minute, 60M or daily and it happens even when loading the chart, not just when I'm trying for historical data.

    Any suggestions?

    My internet connection is fine and the NT status bar says "Connected - ZenFire"

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    If you are not seeing any interrupt in your internet service then this means that the servers are in fact busy.

    Please wait 5 or 10 minutes and try loading the charts again.

    Additionally, you may want to restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to Zen-Fire.

      Hi Cameron, thanks for your quick reply.

      Prior to my post I had tried several times over the space of about an hour or so. Just tried again and the problem seems to have cleared.

      How often does this happen?

        Hello,

        This can happen during high volume times when many NinjaTrader users are requesting historical data.

              We have over ten thousand users at any given time on our servers and to the best of my knowledge, I can count on a single hand the number of times the servers report back busy.
