instrument lists

You know how when you mouse click on the instrument name in the upper left hand corner of the chart the default instrument list appears? It would be very handy to be able to change that to show different instrument lists. The whole idea of instrument lists seems almost pointless because ninja trader does not provide a simple way for me to scroll through the charts of instruments on any list except the default.
Is there some way to actually look through the charts of each instrument in an instrument list without having to enter each symbol name individually. If not what is the point of having instrument lists?. Maybe we could find a way to change the charts to allow users to change what instrument list appears when you mouse click on the instrument name.

Thank you for your post and sharing your thoughts. I will forward this post to our development team as a vote in to extend the instrument lists and how they are used.

In the meantime, what you can do is create a custom list in the Market Analyzer and then link this window to your chart. Once linked, you can then simply click on the instrument or scroll through the list from the Market Analyzer and this will change the instrument on the chart.
