    Bad CL 10-13 tick data

    Hello,

    I am not sure where to post this. I know NT supplies the historical data for my Zen-Fire feed. I have been having big issues with the historical tick data since switching to the CL 10-13 contract.

    The data is not correct or complete. Yesterday on a 800 tick chart there were only 27 bars painted, it changes when historical data is reloaded. I compared it to my TOS account data and it is definitely bad data.

    How do I get this fixed? Is there a way to clear the locally stored data to reset it? Is anyone else having this problem? Could I be doing something wrong like settings in Option etc?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    We are currently looking into an issue with the Historical Data servers that interface with the Zen-Fire connection.

    Once I have further details I will update the thread.

    Thank you for your patience while we look to resolve this issue.

      Hello,

      Please restart NinjaTrader and reconnect at this time.

      Let us know if you see this behavior again once restarted.

        Same problem,

        It appears that the ticks are being counted historically on a much higher tick count like 6000 ticks or more than what I have the chart set to (800 ticks).

        Also it takes a long time for the real time data to start streaming. Once it does it appears to be correct. But if I restart NT all the previous correct real time data is again compressed into the high tick count.

          Hello,

          Prior to the latest instructions of restarting NinjaTrader, I was able to replicate this issue. However since I received the update from our IT Staff, 800 Tick charts are loading both live and historical data correctly.

          Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your cache data:

          * Close NinjaTrader
          * Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> db folder -> cache folder
          * Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
          * Open NinjaTrader
          * Connect

          Open a new chart without any indicators or templates applied to see if you are able to load a chart.

            I followed your instructions, same problem, I have attached an image of the chart I get. Notice the data for 8/19 and today.

              Hello,

              Do you have "Use Chart Data as Historical" Checked?

              Tools -> Options -> Data tab.

              If it is checked, uncheck this and restart NinjaTrader.

              Once restarted, Right click in your chart -> Reload All Historical Data.

                    We were able to resolve this by ensuring that the latest version of NinjaTrader was used - 7.0.1000.15 and that the instrument list was reset.

                    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

                    Once the reset is complete, restart NinjaTrader.
