Setting up commissions

I have setup up commissions with the instrument manager and also the options/commissions tab but I still have a problem.

I trade an ATM strategy where I enter 2 contracts, then exit one contract on a scalp and the second contract on a swing trade. The problem I am having is that it seems the commission is applied per trade (3 trades) instead of per contract (4 trades, two contracts round turn).

How do I set it up to calculate the commission per contract per side?

Hello seahn,

You will want to set up a tier commission. You can do this by going to Tools > Options > Commission tab, selecting your connectivity provider and the instrument type, clicking the + button, clearing the 'Minimum commission', selecting Commission levels and clicking the '...' button. Then in the Collection editor window setting the Commission value, setting Units to the max number of contracts the commission will be applied to and pressing OK > OK.
