one installation, switching between license keys

Hi,

Right now I have an installation of NT7 with a simulation license on which I backtest, program custom indicators, and do some charting (I execute manually with my broker).

I'm considering opening a secondary account at another brokerage that offers an NT Direct license.

If I opened that account, could I use the Direct license key during market hours to execute with my broker, and then switch to the simulation license key after hours for testing - using the same installation of NT7?

Thank you for your post.

Yes, you can switch the license key between the Simulation and Direct edition on the same installation of NinjaTrader through the Control Center -> Help -> License key field.

Keep in mind that you will need to restart when you go from Simulation to Direct.

The live key that you can lease or purchase will be more convenient for you since you can just use one license key.
