Auto Trader Needs NT ver 7 Support

Hiya Folks,

In the past, I have paid an individual for an AutoTrader program that was written for NT ver 6.5. This program will not work with NT ver 7. The person I bought it from no longer supports the program, & will not upgrade it to ver 7.

Needless to say this has me very disappointed.

I was wondering if there was anyone who would be willing to somehow deconstruct this program so that it works with NT ver 7? I'm not a programmer & have no desire to try to learn the ins & outs of programming for NT.

Sorry to hear that, do you see your strategy when you go to Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Strategy or do you see your strategy if you go to File -> Utilities -> Remove NinjaScript Assembly?

Do you have the original Technical Specification for the program? If you do, it might be simpler to write the program from scratch.

From his description of his problem, it sounds as if he does not. He does say that the original coder refuses to provide support, so would someone "be willing to somehow deconstruct this program ...".

Actually, when trying to re-install program, I see that the Terms of Service state that the program will not work with NT ver 7. Which kind of leaves me back at square one.

As far as having an "unprotected source", I really don't know.

Do what NT_jc suggests. Try to edit the strategy. Does it show up with code?
