Adding Bid/Ask Quantity

Can I add to Market Analyzer columns for Bid/Ask Quantity?

Thank you for your forum post.


By default there is not an indicator available to show the bid and ask sizes within the Market Analyzer.


With that being said, I have investigated these type of indicators on our support forum and it looks like an indicator to show the Bid and Ask sizes has been submitted:

To import indicators you will need the original .zip file.

Here is a basic guideline of how to Import indicators.


To Import
1. Download the indicator to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some indicators, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

These indicators are called "JoeAskSize" and "JoeBidSize"

Yes you can add an indicator to the Market Analyzer:

• Right mouse click on the Market Analyzer background > Columns...
• On the upper left hand side of the Columns window select "Indicator" and click "New"
• On the Indicator parameters on the right hand side > Set the Indicator to the appropriate indicator to show the Bid/Ask sizes. (This is where you will need to download and install the indicator I linked initially These indicators are called "JoeAskSize" and "JoeBidSize")
• Click OK when finished.
