Two noob questions- is this setup possible?

Hi fellow Ninjatrader users and experts!

I'm evaluating Ninjatrader for my professional software of choice. However to be sure,, there are a couple of questions I haven't found the answer yet to.

a) Is it possible to use hotkeys to change the settings on drawings? For example, I want to quickly draw lines with different settings, must I manually go into each one's properties or how can I bind settings to a shortcut keyboard key? with different colour, thickness, dots/dashes etc.

b) Is it possible to add drawings to the chart through the use of a script? For example, I have a text file with a list of andrew's pitchforks with exact coordinates for points A, B, C, etc.... could I write a C# script to add these pitchforks to my charts ?

Hello jorxster,

a) Unfortunately this is not supported. You will need to open the properties menu of the drawing object to configure to your liking. Subsequently you can save the settings by clicking the Set Default button.

b) Yes, you can access drawing object in NinjaScript. Please see the link below.

can Ninjatrader display timeframes like 20 minute, or 3 hour bars?

Yes, this is possible. You will need to set Type to Minute and Value to 20 or 180 in the data series window.
