    Error with the charts?

    Hi
    I have a live connection with Interactive Brokers. I've just logged on and am seeing a big red cross in the 'Orders' tab in the Control Center. What does this mean?

    Also, my time-based charts are not loading, and orders are not accepted on the Charts on SIM and LIVE. The error message is "You must be connected and within the active hours of the chart's session template to submit an order".

    This is the first time I'm encountering this. Pls advise.

    Hello strading22,

    The red cross indicates corruption. Can you please disconnect IB and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab, click Repair DB. Restart NinjaTrader and check if all charts load the requested data and if the red cross persists.

    If so, please exit NinjaTrader and go to C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db and delete the cache folder. Start NinjaTrader and check again.

      Thanks for the fast response. I followed all the steps and the red cross was removed and the time-based charts loaded. However, as soon as I connect to IB, the red cross re-appears ago and the chart data disappeared. I followed the steps again including removing the cache and re-starting my PC, and it still doesn't work.

        Can you please send me your log and trace files, so I can investigate. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Jason, Error with the charts?' in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.
