    Rollover question

    From this page: http://www.ninjatrader.com/Advisory/Advisory21.php

Once you have completed this process, you will need create a new chart, or you may change your existing charts to the new 12-13 contract
How do you change your existing charts? There seems to be no way of doing that.

When you add the 12/13 instrument to the chart if you can delete the old instrument that should solve the problem but I am told that as the primary instrument it cannot be deleted.

How then can the charts be changed? I'd hate to have to create new charts for everything - and to do it every few months - it takes ages.

    Hi Instamess,

    Thank you for the post.

You can change your chart by using the on the fly system that we have for the charts.

    To do this -
*Left click on the chart you wish to change
*start typing in the new instrument you want to change
*Example: If I have the ES 09-13 and want to change to the 12-13 I would click in the chart and type in - ES 12-13
*Hit enter to accept the change.

Here is a link on how to use the on the fly system -

Please read the section - "How to change a Data Series"

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
