Cannot display local time on charts

What are the settings so that I can display my charts in local time?

I know NT does this as a default but being new I think I've changed one or more settings so that now my ES charts show Central time. I am in Pacific time so my 12:00 noon bar shows its time as 14:00

    IB is my data feed.

    Thanks

    Pete

    Hi Psillari,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

Would you please tell me which build of TWS you are currently using?

    * To verify what version of Traders Workstation you currently have log into Traders Workstation
    * Under Help go to About Traders Workstation...
    * Scroll down and look for Build

        Psillari,

        Thank you for the info.

939.2 build has the data feed come in, time stamped with the native time of the origin of the instrument. Example is the CME, any data coming from this exchange will have the central time zone stamped in the data.

To correct this, you will need to uninstall TWS and installed the supported version from the link below -
        http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrad...tall_938_1.exe

While this is a lower version, it is the supported version and does not have the data time stamped natively.

Please follow these steps and let me know if this corrects your charts

          Cal,

Uninstalled / reinstalled the proper version of TWS and got it connected to NT7.

          Now time is showing local.

That said it is stopped at 14:15 and the current time is 14:43. Any idea why it isn't updating?

            Hello,

            Please make the following change:
            • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
            • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.
