.NET .... security and version

hi

i understand the NT requires .net to be installed

my questions are;

1- which version of .NET should i install to get both effiecent security and performance.. there are .NET framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5

2- after downloading the NT it said to look for security updates for the .NET ... what are exactly these updates as i cant locate them and from where to download them


bottom line is What is the best version of .NET with its security patches that ensures the maximum security possible running NT

where do i get all the security updates and pactches for .net 2

i browsed microoft site and there are a number of service packs and additional files to .NET that i got lost..


also does .NET version 3.5 offers better security

You need to have installed .NET 2.0.

You'll get updates by the regular Window update procedure (please consult your PC's help system or contact Microsoft) or here: http://www.update.microsoft.com/micr....aspx?ln=en-us
