Missing Price Information in Data Box

Hi there,

I think I did something dumb and accidentally toggled an option in the 'Data Series' where the price information on a chart doesn't show at the top of the Data Box. The only thing I see are the values of the indicators I've placed on the chart I'm looking at.

Could someone kindly guide me to check a few things in either the chart view (right click options), or perhaps something in my NS code as well?

Hello Spider,

Please right click on the chart and select Data Series.

Then in the Data Series window select 'Display in Data Box' set to 'True' and press 'OK'.

Thanks for the help. I checked the 'Display in Data Box' setting and it was set to 'True'.
I toggled it back and forth from 'False' to 'True'. I also restarted Ninjatrader, reloaded the chart, and toggled again with no luck. Still no pricing information in the Data Box.

More info: I'm using the chart with Market Replay.

So for the morbidly curious (or if you have a similar situation that you encounter yourself), here's what the problem was.

One of the custom indicators I use in my Ninjascript charts (HeikenAshi_Smoothed) sets the bar color series to 'transparent' in the indicator code. This caused NS to not post the pricing information related to the security to the Data Box.

All you have to do is either go into the 'Indicator' section of the chart by right clicking on the option and making sure the bar color default option is something *other* than transparent, or just change it in the indicator code itself. Once you do that, the pricing information will reappear in the Data Box associated with the chart you're looking at.
