    Error connecting to MBTrading with NJ 7.0.1000.16

    I have MBT Desktop version 12.0.0.39 installed on my computer.
    I've just upgraded to NinjaTrader version 7.0.1000.16 (I belived I had 7.0.1000.10 before hand).
    When trying to connect to the MBT trading account I'm getting an error message: "Most Likely you don't have the recommended version of MBT Navigator".
    Please assist, what version should I installed (BTW: This account worked properly before the upgrade).

    Hello Ran,

    When using NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.11 or later: You must have MBT Navigator Version 11.9.0.44 installed

        Same problem as OP.

        Currently installed:
        OS: Win 7
        NT 7.0.1000.16
        MBT Desktop 12.0.0.39 (aka Navigator and installed from file MbtDesktop.11.9.0.44)

        According to the instructions these should work together. I get the error "Most Likely you don't have the recommended version of MBT Navigator" in the log when trying to connect.

        I also get "NT has stopped working" popup when closing out of the program. But this only happens if I have tried to connect.

          Hello Monkie,

          Please uninstall MBT Desktop 12.0.0.39.

          To connect NinjaTrader to MB Trading you will just need MbtDesktop 11.9.0.44.

            I've installed file MbtDesktop.11.9.0.44.exe from that link twice. Each time it installs MBT Desktop 12.0.0.39 (at least that is what it states when I check the version).

              Hello Monkie,

              Did you uninstall via the Windows Control Panel before reinstalling? The uninstall would be required in this specific instance.

                I can currently connect now, but there is a new problem.

                I figured out the real problem was that upon install I was overlooking the popup that said there is an updated version available - I was just clicking through and this allowed the update to install.

                New problem when trying to load a chart:
                From Log: Mbt.Callback.UpdateAccount: unknown account "xxxxxxxxxx"
                Error popup: Error (errServerSideInvalidSessionToken) on loading historical data

                For some reason it appears that it's trying to connect to my Demo account even though on the connection setup I have selected Live server. I verified that on startup of MBTDesktop the live account is selected.

                  Based on what you've outlined you had encountered a widespread issue with MB Trading connections this evening. The underlying issue appears to have been resolved at this time. Please restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to MB Trading. If you encounter further issues please let me know.
