    Login filled: Timeout on waiting for TWS

    Hello,

    When I connected to Interactive Brokers than it loop to automatically disconnects and starts reconnection. In the end this error appear: Login filled: Timeout on waiting for TWS.
    NT support had helped me in an old PC installation. I think they had put something in the display TWS parameters but I don't know what.

    Could somebody help me?

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

    What version of TWS are you using? You can check under TWS -> Help -> About -> Scroll to the Build #

        Hello Michel,

        Thank you for your response.

        Please shut down both TWS and NinjaTrader. Then restart only TWS and manually login > then restart NinjaTrader and connect to Interactive Brokers > once complete shut down TWS and restart NinjaTrader.

        NinjaTrader should now connect to TWS without encountering the behavior you detailed.

            It seems to me those who have to put a specific text, but I can not remember which one.

              Thank you for your response.

              If you are using a White Labeled TWS then you would need to use the following instructions:
              • Open TWS. In menu bar click <Configure> and proceed as outlined below:
              • <Global Configuration>
              • <Configuration/Display/Settings>
              • On the right panel in "Titlebar text" there is a edit box. Enter following into it:
                Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation
              • <Configuration/Display/Style>
              • Check the setting: Use system title bar (Change requires a restart)
