    Soybean meal chart not plotting as expected

    Hi,

    I'm using "16th" most recent version of NT 7, with " historical data enabled " Interactive Broker live account TWS "most recent version".

    Trying to plot "ZM DEC 13" using Period Type of 1 Day, 365 Days to load , but it gives an error: " Error on loading chard data for 'ZM 11-13 Globex': unable to load historical data: unknown instrument.

    After resetting Instruments ,Database and re-adding ZM instrument, it still gives an error: " Error on loading chard data for 'ZM 11-13 Globex': IB-Historical: error in requesting data from IB : no security definition has been found for the request (200)"

    In NT instrument manager, ZM is linked to "ZM|ECBOT" symbol with IB.
    Within TWS the chart of "ZM DEC [email protected]" is plotting just fine up to one year worth of data.

    P.s. :
    - Changing the "Days to Load" to maximum of 30 days works just fine
    - I made sure that ZM DEC 13 is the instrument
    - All other instruments plot fine

    Please advice

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please uninstall your TWS version and download TWS 938.1 from our website as this is the official supported version at this time.

    You can download TWS 938.1 from here:
    http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php

    Then see if this corrects your issue.

    If it doesn't please send a follow up note referring to this post to support at ninjatrader dot com and put in the subject header 'For Vince'.

    Include in this email as well your most recent log and trace file.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named "log.20131017.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named "trace.20131017.txt"

      Solved. It is an error in NT contract month date .
      Go to Instrument Manager --> Edit --> Misc ---> Contract Months ---> click the (...) button , in Contract Months window click on 11-13 and correct the Contract month to 12-13 to solve the issue ( if 12-13 already exists just remove 11-13 to solve the issue)
