    Error message when trying to download data for Market Replay

    Hi Guys,

    I receive the following error message every time I try and download data for the Market Replay function.

    “Error on downloading replay data: connection to data server is busy or not available right now. Please try again later”

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for your post.

    For what instrument are you trying to download replay data and what is the date you've selected?

    In addition, what version of NinjaTrader are you using? Our current release is V7.0.1000.16 which you can check under Help--> About.

      I am using V7.0.1000.16

      Product is ES 12-13

      Date is 31/10/2013

        Hello Dondi,

        Can you reboot your machine and then try to download the replay data. I just checked on my end and the replay data is downloading for me for the ES 12-13, 10/31/2013.

            Hello Dondi,

            If you still experience the error, it is related to our historical data server. The message indicates the historical data server was too busy processing other requests so your data request could not be processed.

            Please wait a few minutes and check if you can download Market Replay data.

            If the error remains, please try a different instrument/date and check if this will work.

              Thanks for that Vince but its seems that every combination I try I keep getting the same error.

                Dondi,

                Just to be sure, you have restarted NinjaTrader, correct? You have to restart NT after the error has come up. That way you'll be disconnected from the server and the only way to reconnect again is to restart NT.
