    IB Conneting Problem after Update to NT 7.0.1000.16

    After Installing the latest Version of NT I get a connection error:
    Fatal Error one of the following jar files is missing from the classpath:

    jfreech art-1 .O.9.jar

    jcommon-1.O.12 jar

    Please make sure you run the application from the shortcutthat was

    installed on your desktop or on the Start menu when you upgraded.

    The application will now terminate.

    I still work with TWS 921.5

    What is wrong?


    I tried to connect TWS manually and then to connect via NT, and it worked, but connecting direct from NT fails every time.

    Thanks for your post.

    The current version of NinjaTrader and Traders Workstation supported together is NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.16 and Traders Workstation 938.1

    You can download Traders Workstation 938.1 from the link below


    Follow the steps in our Interactive Brokers Connection guide (linked below) to configure Traders Workstation 938.1


    Once complete please test once again.

      Hi, I'm also having trouble connecting to TWS through NT. I've been through the connection tutorial, I have the latest version of NT and TWS version 938.1.

      I manage to connect to Kinetic fine but when I try to connect to TWS it loads the platform and logs in but then repeatedly logs out and in until it tells me it has failed. When I log on to TWS without NT it is fine.

      If someone can help it would be appreciated.

      Actually, just gone back to look again, my data from Kinetic seems to be ten minutes delayed and there is no market depth even though I have signed up to it.

        So I may assist you further please answer the following.

        Does your Traders Workstation settings match the ones in the second screen shot of our Interactive Brokers connection guide?

        Are you using Mosaic Mode and if so do you have the Advanced Order Management (TWS) window open?
        Does the icon at the top left of your Traders Workstation match the one in the Interactive Brokers Connection Guide? (blue box with IB inside)

        What instrument (and expiry if applicable) are you trying to access?

          Hi Brandon,
          Yes the settings match, yes I have the mosaic mode open but I didn't have the Advanced Order Management Window open, should I have?

          The blue box is the same, the instruments I've looked at so far are ES and ZN 12-13.

          EDIT: Just checked the instructions again, didn't see point 3, I'll do it again.

            Got it, sorry to have wasted your time, teach me not to read things through properly.

            Still struggling with the Kinetick data though, it is ten minutes delayed?
