Price scale on right at 0.01 or .01 way out of range of price data

I haven't had my charts up all weekend, and when I bring them up tonight the price scale on the right is 0.01 or 0.1 which is way out of range of where price actually is so obviously there is nothing showing on the charts.

For instance oil/CL price is 94.68 as I write this, but my scale on the right for price is 0.01. So no candles or indicators on the charts. It's way out of range. I will also add that this is only on particular charts with a certain set of indicators on them.

    Hi BrianNC,

    Thank you for your post.

Which data provider are you using with NinjaTrader?

If you were to select CL in the Orders tab of the Control Center window would you see updates to bid, ask and last price or is 'n/a' shown instead?

      Using Zenfire.

        Hello,

Which contract of CL are you charting? (12-13, 01-14, etc.)

If you right click in the chart and select the Reload All Historical Data option does the missing data backfill?

Using 12-13 on oil, and EMD, TF and GC. All of my charts are doing this way with a certain set of indicators on them. I have one set of minute oil charts with just an MA on them working fine. These others have some proprietary indicators and the charts are custom renkos.

          Reloading historical doesn't work.

            Hello,

Please provide me with an image of the chart.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach to your next reply.

              Here it is.

I will note, it doesn't do this on minute based charts, only the proprietary renko. If I switch to a minute chart the candles and all the proprietary indicators come up. I have had this happen to single charts before, so I just kept scrolling the chart up until I found current price. It's never done it with all of them before.

                Hello,

Thank you for getting back to me with this information.

You mentioned that you would be able to access minute data however are you also able to access tick data for the same period? (tick data would ultimately be used to create any type of renko bar)

It actually works on tick and regular renko both.

I also tried putting auto scale to false and that didn't work either.

                    Hello,

Since the base data type is reaching NinjaTrader and this behavior appears to be limited to the custom bar type I would recommend contacting the vendor/developer of that bar type moving forward.

                      Kyle, thanks for your help.

I tried restarting NT, doing the DB repair, reset, etc, and nothing worked. I decided to just restart the computer and that did the trick. When in doubt just restart the whole thing. lol.

Sorry to waste your time. : )
