strange backing up error message

Please see attached. What on earth does this error message mean?

"Unable to create NinjaTrader backup archive file: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Could this message be any less clear?

I was just trying to run backup. Done it many times before, never seen this error before. What the heck is it and how do I fix it?
