Question about Walk Forward Analyzer

Ive run completed a a walk forward and in the top window I have three tabs Instrument, Optimizer and Walk Forward. Is the instrument tab the combined result of the walk forward?

Secondly in the instrument tab I am showing a profit of $4,520 but a cumulative profit of -0.01%, why is this?

Can you provide a screenshot of the walk forward results that you are seeing?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach it to your post by, clicking Relply -> Go advanced -> Click the paperclip in the top toolbar.

Thank you the screenshot.

I can see now that this is from the calculations done for the cumlatie profit.

You can follow the cumlative profit by going to the trades tab and looking at the trades

This doesnt make sense. How can there be a positive Net Profit and a negative cululative profit %?

The instrument tab is showing total number of trades as 194 but when i go into the trades tab I see a total of 1589 trades?

Is the instrument tab meant to be the total of all the Walk Forwards?

If you change the mode type at the top of the Strategy Analyzer does this change the results from negative to positive or anything along those lines?

DO you mean the Points, Currency, Percent ? if I change that nothing happens to the results under the Instrument Tab or anz of the other tabs for that matter, I think somethings not right

WFA shown 0 result

Hello. WFA shown zero result. I set only one parameter in "Parameters" and 28/28 (Opt.days/Test days) as default in "Optimize". Than even changed to 370/28 and still zero. Why? It depends on what?

What instrument / timeframe are you working on here? Would you see the same with our SampleMA strategy? Would the period of 28 days be providing enough data to trigger any trades with your setup?
