    ninjatrader application has stopped working.
    Help.
    unable to connect ninjatrader, keeps freezing when connecting to kinetic, windows shuts program down. what to do?

    Thanks for posting.

    Can you please send an email to support at ninjatrader dot com and refer to this post. Put in the subject 'For Vince'.

    Then include in the email your log and trace file from today so we can further investigate.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
    • The log file will be named "log.20131112.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
    • The trace file will be named "trace.20131112.txt"

      I can't log on with Zen-Fire this morning. Error message--Login failed: Unable to login: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

      Tried with my desktop and laptop and got the same message.

      Please disregard above. On the third try Zen-Fire connected at 9:23 AM EST..

        Thank you for contacting us.

        Can you tell us if your PC clock is set up correctly with the correct date and time. Also check if all windows & microsoft updates are installed.
        Furthermore, can you let us know if you're using Internet Explorer.


        Lastly, what version of NinjaTrader do you have installed? Our current version is V7.0.1000.16 which you can check under Help--> About.

          Hello LWTCI,

          Have not heard back from you, but can you exit and restart and then connect again. We've received a few other similar reports and after a restart people were able to connect again.

            Vince,

            PC clocks are correct. I use NT V7.0.1000.16. I don't use Internet Explorer. I use Google Chrome. As far as I know, everything is updated with Windows. I use Win 7 Pro on my desktop and Win 7 Home on the laptop.

                NinjaTrader application fails to start

                Hello,
                I've installed the latest Ninja Trader on three different PCs, one native Windows 7, a win 7 and XP running under vmware. Neither the XP or 7 on vmware have anything else installed. Ninjatrader will not start up. All of them have the same error, Ninjatrader application has stopped working. The native Win 7 has the latest updates installed and is using IE.

                  Please contact me at Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file.

                  Trace files are located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder. I would need a copy of the 'trace.20130202.txt' file.
