Demo to Subscription

I have been using Mirus demo which came free for one month and would now like to sign up for Kinetic market data and use my IB account to trade.

My question is once I have my subscription for Ninjatrader and Kinetic do I have to reload the version of Ninjatrader I have on my computer now or can I enter the new subscription details?

Hello John,

Thank you for contacting us with this question.

NinjaTrader would not need to be reloaded. You could add the new settings to NinjaTrader without reinstalling the software.

Just another quick question. I am looking to trade gold using Kinetic. Can you just confirm that it is traded on the Comex exchange?

Also as I have an IB account does that mean I don't have to pay the $76 CME fee as part of their exchange waiver program?

So that I can answer you more accurately can you specify the symbol that you are asking about? (as you'd understand, there are more than a few gold symbols)

The symbol is GC.

The GC symbol is on the Comex exchange, which is available as part of the CME waiver if you qualify, and for more information please see: http://www.kinetick.com/CME

With your account with IB you may qualify, but you will also need to be trading live with NinjaTrader. If that is the case then you can validate the CME waiver. Any exchange costs from your broker would be separate from the Kinetick data, but if supplementing their data with Kinetick it may be possible to have those fees replaced by the data you receive with Kinetick. You will want to confirm with IB if this is possible.
