Mail setup test

Hi there.

I'm testing the mail setup via options, misc.
I succeed in sending the mail, but I don't receive the mail. (I've checked mail box, spam etc.)

What went wrong.

Thank you for your post.

After you've set up the mail, did you click the OK button? Also, what email domain do you use? Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or perhaps another?

Thank you for the update.

127.0.0.1 refers to your PC itself.

If the email server is on another PC on your network, please use that server IP.

You may also need to contact your IT staff to ensure that this is setup correctly

The setup is correct. We always use it this way. The question is how is it possible to receive a message in the screen the mail is sent correctly but not received on the used emailaddress.

The message means that NinjaTrader sent the message, however if you did not receive the email this would indicate that there is an issue with the receiving end.

Are you able to use an outside email to test such as gmail using the settings outlined in the link below?
