    Last Day Bar Chart not displayed (eSignal data)

    The last day bar isn't being displayed until late into the night. I tried 24/7, RTH, ETH and nothing seems to work.

    Any idea what could be theproblem?

      I use eSignal 15 min delayed. My other platform downloaded the data fine.

        It looks like it downloaded the data by 8:30-9:00. I don't know why it doesn't download the data 15 min after close.

            Hello,

            Data will be shown in NinjaTrader as soon as the signal your data provider sends is recieved. What Last Price do you see for these instruments in the Orders tab of the Control Center when awaiting the price in your chart?

              The market closed so I only see Open, High and Low. I will check it out again today.

                I am new to NT, but perhaps my issue is related to the setting of my time zone? Is there a place to set my time zone?

                  Hello ATL_Guy67,

                  There is no place to set to the time zone. NinjaTrader uses the time zone of your PC clock.

                  Does the daily chart now show the current daily bar?

                  Do you experience the issue for a particular instrument or are all instruments affected?

                    The Orders tab show the current last price. Will the bar automatically update to the current date? I went into Data Series and changed the date to 12/11 and it updated it to last price for today. Is this what I should have done. Meaning, click Data Series and change to current date? It would automatically update, but only after around 8:30-9:00.

                      Hello,

                      The 'End Date' property which you mentioned would need to be set to the current date to ensure that the chart shows current data. This change alone should ensure that the bar is updated as soon as new data reaches NinjaTrader.

                        Ok, just so I am clear, I would need to manually update the property field every day? I am ok with that, but I just want to make sure that is what you are stating.

                          You do not need to update it every day - it should update automatically. If this is not the case, please close the chart and create a new one.

                            I can't get the last bar to show up unless I select "Default 24/7", but it will show the wrong date. For example, it will show the correct bar for 12/12 but show the wrong date (i.e., 12/13). What is the correct session template setting for US stocks? I am using the simulated version. Is that the problem?

                              We can change the Default 24/7 template so that it works better for you.

                              1.) Which timezone does your PC use?

                              2.) Please middle mouse click on the most current bar to load it's OHLC data in the data box. Which date and time are listed for the bar?
