Ninja Trader not Responding

    Ninja Trader not Responding

    Most of the time when I open I chart in a workspace, when trying place a trade, NT freezes and on top of the chart I see (not responding). This happens also when
    1) trying to close trade
    2) Move between workspaces
    3) Trying to load a new chart
    4) etc...etc.. almost on all many activities that I want to do.

    In an attempt to resolve this issue, I have tried the following:
    1) Reduced the the number of indicators - did not help
    2) I thought this could because of the computer, just purchase a brand new i7 with 16GB RAM , 120 SSD Drive + 1TB harddrive - still problem persisting
    3) Increase Internet speed IN/OUT to 20MBps - Not helped
    4) Changed data feed from CQG to Zenfire - Not helping

    I am now very desperate and need help. The fun thing is that ecven if I don't have any indicators/charts opened the NT would show the same issue (not responding).

    WHATELSE should I do to resolve this issue? I am either missing trades or losing on the trade once this animal freezes

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

      Please, can you help.
      Did you install NinjaTrader from the exact same source on your new computer, as the source that you used for the old? If so, you may have a defective download. The first thing I would do, is get a fresh download, uninstall NinjaTrader, reinstall with the new download.

        Hello Koganam,

        on both my old and new machine I downloaded the NT version directly from Ninjatrader website, but used the license as provided by the broker (Ampfutures) and datafeed provider (Zen fire). So version of NT on my machine is the version available on NT website.
