Does Reuters Datalink data gets supported by Ninjatrader?

Hi,

If this is a data file you're looking to import, you will need to make sure that the file name and format of the file contents meet the NinjaTrader requirements listed on the following link:

http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/importing.htm

Once you're sure the file has met the requirements, you can try to import it from the Tools--> Historical Data Manager--> Import tab.

If the file is unable to be imported for any reasons, it will give you the reason on the Log tab of the Control Center.

How can I convert the Reuters Datalink Data into Ninjatrader format? Any converter suggested?

I do not know of any programs in general that will do this for you.

However you can use a program like Excel to convert the data. Or if you know any other scripting languages, it would be fairly simply to create a small script that does this for you.

I have converted the supported format and successfully imported into the Ninjatrader as the attached image showed. But how can I open it into chart view? Hv no ideas of it. I am looking forward to your reply. Thanks.

Hello,

A new chart can be created via the File > New > Chart menu.
