Ntv18 app loads but nothing on screen

    Ntv18 app loads but nothing on screen

    Any Ideas as to why the app shows up in task manager but nothing loads on screen. All was fine prior to the mandatory update.

    This needs to be working prior to the open on Monday.

    Hello dmking,

    Could you manually send your your most current log, trace, and config files to "support [at] ninjatrade [dot] com", so I may investigate this matter further.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    * The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    * The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"

    You will find your configuration file in the (My) Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 folder

    * The config file will be named "config.xml"

    In the subject line put "ATTN: JC" and reference this thread in the body of the email.

      I'm experiencing the same problem. All OK until after the mandatory upgrade.

      Who should I Attention the Log/Trace & Config files to at Support?

        What is going on here???

        Same here, nothing loading but i kmow its active because if i try and re click
        on icon its says i can only have one ninja open at a time.
        Guess these guys never heard of "If ain't broke dont fix it".

          Update:

          Zen-Fire is currently performing weekend maintenance which is preventing users from connecting. We have received an update from them that the system will be ready to connect by 2:00PM Central Time.


          Please let us know if you are unable to connect by 2:00PM Central and we'll be happy to look into this further.

            OK, that's good to know, but still doesn't address the primary issue of why there are no chart windows appearing after the update. If Zen is doing maintenance, the chart windows should still appear, but we just won't be able to connect. Ergo, the problem still exists.

                having the same issue here, and it's well beyond 2pm central time. Application is running, but nothing is on my screens

                  Please contact me at Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of your Config file. The Config file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder.

                      still not working

                      its after dead line still not workin.
                      Somethin is seriously wrong. Dont think its on my end since so many others are having same issue.

                      I have tried everything. updates, uninstall, reinstall nothing works.

                      Dont know what to say...Very fustrating.

                      I will say that this is unusual for Ninja usaully they are on top of things.

                        Hello,

                        I am seeing a large number of these issues effecting Zen-Fire users currently indicating a issue with Zen-Fire login servers. Due to this, I would recommend that you contact your broker to report the issue.

                          Having the same problem of program not loading properly I opened the config file in notepad and changed ConnectOnStartUp in the block of code related to Zenfire to "false". Solved the problem.

                            Although the notepad edit workaround solved to problem of ver 18 not loading... it does not solve the disconnect / unable to reconnect problem. In a trade before the disconnect so I'm hoping that Zenfire's new server side OCO feature is working...
