Trade on the chart

Excuse me for the stupid question but till some days ago ( with .16 version ) every time that used control center to create a strategy and enabled it if i opened the relative chart i can check the pending order that are placed by the strategy

I don't know where am I doing wrong, but now ( and i have the .18 version) if i enabled a strategy on control center and i open the relative chart ( eg 6B ) i didn't see the pending order that the strategy place..

On the chart i enabled the "chart trader" but i don't understand where is the problem..

It is true.. very stupid..
But now how can see the order on the chart using the account sim102 and not sim101 ?

Hi R.,

You will need to select the sim102 account for both your strategy and your chart. If you go to your strategies tab, right-click, and select "Edit Strategy" from the menu, you will be able to change the account from there.

Hi Zach,
in my control center i created the strategy using the sim102 account.
But when i open a chart, in that chart i can't choose sim101 or 102 if chart trader is active. The only way to change the account is disable the chart trader, than choose the strategy and change the account from sim101 to sim102.. But i wouldn't load the strategy from the chart, i would use only the control center..

Hey R,

Thanks for the those images. You won't be able to change the account while Chart Trader is active, you will have to select the account before activating Chart Trader.

Ok my problem is that i be able to change the account in control center but not on chart .. and if on control center the account is sim102 if i open a chart i can't see the order pending..
So i don't know where i must change the account in the chart..

Hi R,

Do you have global simulation mode activated?

Please go to the File menu in the control center and uncheck "Global Simulation Mode".


Now when you open up an order entry window you should be able to toggle between your accounts.
