Multiple Connections and Log

Hi,
I have a question about primary and secondary connection.
I do a connection with IQFEED and than with Interactive Brookers, but in the log file there are both primary connection. Why?

Hello turbofib,

This is as expected. The Control Center-->Log-tab will show each connection as "Primary". When connected to multiple connections simultaneously in NinjaTrader, you will receive data from the first connected connection on most occassions. Only when the first connection does not support a certain instrument type (stock, futures, forex, index), it will receive data from the second connection. IQFeed supports all instrument types, so you will receive all data from IQFeed.

However i use IQFeed as a data source and use interactive brokers as a platform for automated
orders
but I will not for no reason that ninja use as a feed interactive brokers (quality data is low-level)

Hello turbofib,

As long as IQFeed is the first connected connection, you will receive data from them and not IB.
