How to load an xml file?

Hello to everybody, I have ninjatrader 7 -18 installed on my computer.

I have a x64 computer, and I got two direct acces links on my desktop, I use x64.

My broker sent me an xml file with historical information but I don't know what should I do to load that xml file at ninjatrader. It is tick data for the currency eur usd.

I searched on google and apparently I have to store the xml at documents, ninjatrader 7, templates, charts.

I did that, but I cannot load any data.

I follow the steps explained to add data series but I think I am not loading the correct data.

I go to file, new, chart.
I select forex, eur usd, double click. I type the name I want for the data, Enter.
Visual, new panel, and Ok.

I get a white screen without any data, obviously I couldn't choose the right data.

Any idea to load the tick data stored in the xml file?

Well the file is quite large and I don't know how I could send it.
It is a 500mb zip file, that when it is uncompressed raises to 11 gb.

Apparently there is a 300mb limit, and I cannot upload the file.

The process which you are following sounds to be correct which is why I had wanted to take a look at the file. Are you able to post the first few lines of the file here?

I am trying to open the file with a text reader and it's taking a long time.

It is very late in Spain and I have to go bed.

Tomorrow I will try it and when I open the file I will copy some lines to show you how it is.

Unfortunately this data does not meet NinjaTrader formatting restrictions and would need to be reformatted. The format which you would need to reformat the data to is outlined at this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../importing.htm

Unfortunately open office is not able to open the whole document since it exceeds the maximum number of rows.

I will try to open the file with another software, transform the data into one with proper form to ninja and then I will try to open the file.

I will post the results here.
