    Market replay issue

    Hello.

    CL 2/14

    NT 21

    I am unable to download MR L1 data for the week starting 1/6/14.

    Please advise.


    Also, since upgrading nto NT 21 market replay takes very long to rewind. I am running vista business 32bit with 4GB RAM. I do not think NT 21 takes more memory though. Can I roll back to the former version and still retain my workspaces?

    Is there a way to save drawing objects such that when market replay is rewound they remain?

    Thank you for your post.

    1.) Unfortunately, this data is not available on the servers.

    2.) I would not recommend rolling back to a prior release however applying the performance tips which are outlined at the following link would likely help with this: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ance_tips2.htm

    3.) Unfortunately it is not possible to retain drawing objects when rewinding in Market Replay.

      Regarding answer #1, has there been a change? I have been able to download historical L1/L2 data in the past on this instrument.

        Hello,

        To elaborate on my prior answer, this data for this instrument is recorded however an issue prevented recording of data during this specific time frame.

          I tried downloading for a different time frame for a different contract and still was unable to retrieve any L1 data.

          1/14 CL contract

          Data for trade date: 11/19/13

          All I obtained was L2 data.

            Thanks for your post.

            Currently our Market Replay is running off of a backup server which is missing lots of data. Our servers team is looking into getting the main server back up and make the missing data available. This type of server maintenance can only be done on the weekends and will be attempted once again this weekend.

              10pm PST 1/26/14

              ZN 12/13

              Tried to download data for trade date 9/26/13 and still have the same problem, no L1 data. Did you get the main server back up?

                Unfortunatley our server department was not able to restore the data this past weekend. They will continue to work on this the upcoming weekend.
