How Do I set up a daily chart to accurately reflect the session high and low for CL?

Hello. I am using the Kinetic end of day data feed, and have been experiencing problems producing a Daily Chart that accurately documents the trading session's high, low, open and close for the CL front-month contract.

Listed below is what I want to achieve, any help would be much appreciated:

    1) An end of day chart that accurately documents the High, Low, Open and Close for the CL (Crude oil) futures contract. The session should be the Electronic trading Session, from Electronic Open to Electronic close.

Here are my current Chart Data Series parameters:

    1) I look at the front-month contract that is trading with the most volume only. I have my data settings set to "do not merge data". So, for example, I am currently looking at the March Crude Oil contract. CL 03-14, with no back-adjusted, merged, data.

    2) My Session Template for the chart is set to "use instrument settings".

    Some other questions:

    1) For most days, using Kinetic end of day data, the charts are accurate. But, yesterday's holiday session and today's regular session have been put together and labeled Jan 21. I do not understand this at all. How can I separate the two sessions?

    2) I use CQG data for my live data. I have attempted to load daily charts as I outlined above, but the data ranges vary wildly. Is it possible to load an accurate daily chart using Cqg?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

If you were to, using the CQG connection, create a 1440 minute chart which used the 'Default 24/7' session template setting would you see OHLC data which more closely matches the values which you expect to see?
