    End Date under Data Category in Data Series Window

    For instrument CL 12-13, I am unable to plot chart for October and November even though data exists in market replay. Attached with this post is image of Data Series and Market replay

    I am able to confirm existence of data in all 3 places

    In Market Replay's main window itself;
    In "Replay Panel" and
    In Historical Data Manager.

    However, all attempts to chart data fail because "End Date" under Data Category on "Data Series" window remains disabled with dates such as 30/10.

    What is going on? Why is it stubbornly holding onto some arbitrary date?

    Thanks for your post.

    When you press Play on the Replay Controller do you see data update for the CL 12-13 in the Orders tab of the Control Center?
    Do you receive any errors in the Log tab of the Control Center?

      Yes, Data changes on Order tab.
      Yes, Orders if placed do get Filled.

      I am unable to spot any evident entry in log with respect to CL 12-13 or Market Replay

        Thanks for your reply.

        As a test, please take the following steps to force NinjaTrader to start without your saved workspace. You will have the option to reopen these after our tests.
        • Shut down NinjaTrader
        • Navigate to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\workspaces
        • Delete the file named "_Workspaces.XML".
        • After deleting this file, restart NinjaTrader which should startup without any workspaces.
        • Once NinjaTrader has started on just the control center, please open a new chart with no indicators/templates and test for issue.
        • set the replay Controller time to a time when the market is open
        • *Please note this will not delete your workspace however the new blank workspace will be named Untitled1. If you have a workspace already named Untitled1 however you will not want to save the workspace when exiting NinjaTrader, otherwise it will overwrite it.

          I do not use workspaces but still went ahead and deleted the file you mentioned and it made the issue worse.

          Now End Date is showing as 31 Dec 2012 for CL 12-13
