Market Replay Data Question

Using market replay, the data only comes in once a second? Is that the way it is supposed to be? I don't remember it being this way but I haven't used it in quite awhile. I have "record for market replay" and "Save chart data as historical" checked. But I might of connected to the external data feed awhile ago before running the market replay function. Could that of messed up my real time data that I had recorded? Using CQG data.

Market Replay recording and playback takes place on a tick-by-tick basis to ensure that data plays back in exactly the same way that originally took place in real-time.
