Bad MFI data for specific stock ?

    Hello,
    I am doing an SMA(MFI(Stock(1 Min),14),10)
Where "Stock" in the above expression is for different instruments. This works well for all instruments I tried, except for JKS:
When applied to "JKS" instrument, I get no data out of the SMA or sometimes it reports invalid SMA data. The MFI data itself is plotted.
I am using IB as my data provider .
Any idea of what this is ?

    Hello Leope,

    Thank you for your post.

Can you provide the full line of code used for the JKS stock so I may look into this matter further?

      Hi,
I open a chart with JKS as my instrument.
I add the SMA as my indicator
In the Input series , I modify it to "indicators - MFI". So the input series is now:
      "MFI(JKS(1 Min),14)
      And that's all.
The SMA line will not show.
If I replace the SMA with another operator such as EMA or MACD its still doesn't show. So I suspect some wrong MFI data.
      Thanks

        Hello Leope,

        Thank you for your response.

Please right click in the chart > select Indicators > select the SMA with the MFI as the input > then change the parameter of Auto Scale to True > OK. Do you now see the data?

If you see the data you have a few options to ensure the chart is not scaled in such a manner. You can set the Indicators Panel to 2 or the Scale Justification to Overlay.

For information on the Indicator parameters please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...indicators.htm

          Hi,
It had nothing to do with scaling - the data was somehow not coming out also in the data box.
Anyway, I did nothing in the indicator window, but not the data is o.k now. So my guess there was some data error.
          Thanks
