    Ninjatrader application has stopped working

    Hi

    I ma running windows 7 SP1 64 bit. When I start NT windows error saying: Ninjatrader has stopped working. When I click on ""view problem details"" the following is displayed: Description:
    Stopped working

    Hello,

    Thank you for your note.


    To ensure you do not have a corrupt installation please uninstall/reinstall NinjaTrader with the steps I have provided below. With this procedure you will not lose any Workspaces, Charts, etc.
    • Close all running applications.
    • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
    • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
    • Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
    • Reboot your machine.
    • Once these steps are completed, download NT 7.0.1000.21 from the link below:

      Hi there,


      After many yeras using it, just reinstalled Windows 10 and donwload NT7 last download it doesn't start working, I click on it and a message appears saying NT has stopped working...

      Download and installed too: dotnetfx35setup

      I did the steps unninstalling it but same

        Please write into PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com and include today's log and trace files.

        You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

        The log file will be named "log.20160401.txt"

        You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

        The trace file will be named "trace.20160401.txt"

            I see that you have installed NinjaTrader on a virtual machine using a Mac. Please uninstall NinjaTrader and follow the steps for your particular virtual service to properly configure it for use with NinjaTrader. After following the steps, reinstall NinjaTrader:

            Mac Installation - Configuring NinjaTrader for Parallels

            When installing NinjaTrader on a Mac using Parallels users will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.
            • Start Parallels and select your virtual machine
            • Press the "Configure" button on the top
            • Under "Options", select "Sharing"
            • Uncheck "Share Mac" under "Share Mac User Folders with Windows"
            • Press "OK" and start the virtual machine

            Mac Installation - Configuring NinjaTrader for VMWare Fusion:

            When configuring NinjaTrader on a Mac running VMWare, users will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.
            • Start VMWare and select your virtual machine
            • Press the "Settings" button on the bottom
            • Under "System Settings", select "Sharing"
            • Uncheck "Documents" from the "Mirrored Folders" list
            • Close the "Settings" window and start the virtual machine

            Mac Installation - Configuring NinjaTrader for Apple Boot Camp:

            When configuring NinjaTrader on a Mac running Apple Boot Camp, there are no special instructions needed.
