    Unable to connect to Broker Account

    I am connecting to Rithmic and eSignal ok but after leaving Global Simulation Mode when I click on Chart Trader to connect to my broker account from sim account the drop down menu appears then immediately disappears. Also cannot change trade quantity while in sim account. Have noticed this for awhile but in the past after clicking on the account drop down a few times it would connect,, not so far today however.

    Thanks for your post.

    Can you please do the following and then see if you have your account available again in the dropdown window:
    - Make sure NinjaTrader is closed
    - Go to the windows control panel--> Programs & Features--> Uninstall NinjaTrader 7
    - Reinstall NinjaTrader from the following link:
    http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php


    You will not lose any settings, strategies, workspaces etc since they are located in a folder that won't be uninstalled.

    Let us know if this corrects your issue.

      Hi Vince,

      The repeated clicking of the drop down allowed me to connect, I will do as you suggested and post the results.

        Hi Vince,

        I uninstalled NT then reinstalled and have the same issue with chart trader drop down menu for account connection list disappearing. I closed chart trader then opened and the menu appears to be ok but no sure why having chart trader open when the chart opens would make a difference.

          Hi,

          Can you repair your database and see if that corrects the issue with the account drop down window.
          To do this go to Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> Repair DB.
