Data from excel or Metaserver o other

Hi,





I have a broker Italian from which I take the data to excel and then with metaserver. How can I take thedata without changing broker?

I am not familiar with Metaserver, however, if you mean MetaStock, you will be able to import this data into NinjaTrader using the Historical Data Manager, as NinjaTrader supports importing historical data in MetaStock format.


To import this data, go to the Control Center -> Tools -> Historical Data Manager. In the "Import" tab, select "MetaStock" from the "Format" drop down menu. Leave the timezone set to UTC unless the data was recorded from a different timezone.


If the data you are importing is tick data, you can check the boxes "Generate 'Day' Bars" and "Generate 'Minute' Bars" to add minute and daily data to NinjaTrader based on the tick data you are importing. Click "Start Import" to add this data to NinjaTrader.

I would like to use the data of my broker that I take excell with dde. Ninja may not have the data feed data excel?

NinjaTrader does not support importing historical data from Excel files. To import historical data from a file, you will need to have historical data in Metastock format, or a file exported from another installation of NinjaTrader.
